Redevelopment of an existing shopping mall to a new town centre with 1600 dwelling units, this proposal contains many open multifunctional spaces, public plazas, park space, historic urban trail integration and public art. Achieving a pedestrian and bicycle friendly environment was a major key point for urban planing of this redevelopment. Converting a traditional parking lot mall concept into a urban mall creates 9x more landscape area available for use by placing most cars underground.
